Default Throttle sticking/mind of its own

lately my throttle has been sticking, and not just sticking, but continuing to accelerate!! its like i step on it for a second, let off, and the truck continues on as if my foot never left the throttle!!!! and this morning when i started it, i pushed on the gas just a bit and it redlined itself!! i just barley tapped it. any ideas on what this is and how i can fix it?
