My son has a 1995 Camry that has proven to be a great first car for him for the past 7 years. It's a 5SFE 4 cylinder with an automatic. About two years ago, he built a new motor for the car based on a 5SFE that came out of a '91 MR2. For a number of reasons, the engine was on an engine stand until now. We pulled the old motor out last night and realized that the mounting holes for the '91 rear engine mount on the engine block are drilled and tapped in a completely different orientation than those for the '95 motor. Does anyone know of a correct rear mount that will allow the '91 motor to bolt into the '95 engine bay? I've wondered if a '91 Camry mount might work but haven't begun the search. I'd appreciate any thoughts anyone might have, as I'm clueless at this point.
