In the past year I have found two large round washer type disks (Approx. 4") laying on the ground under the rear wheels of my 2005 Sequoia LTD. I can't see where they came from. One fell off last winter and the other one over the summer. Does anyone have any idea what these may be? Would it have anything to do with the tsb for "clunk noise at low speds when stopping or turning?" I have had that problem for several years but the dealer "doesn't hear it" and have tried several other attempts to fix it. (cleaning the brakes was one attempt.) I currently have 98k and the clunking problem has ben occurring since before the 60k expired.

I am looking for a platinum 4x4 sequoia, but don't want a FFV. I live in Kansas City, and around me all you can get is the FFV versions. I am willing to travel out of state, but am not sure where to look. Is there a list of states that don't get the FFV models available somewhere?

Thanks!

This happen a couple of times when I make a right hard close to hard right turn, the car feels like it going to die. I press the gas and the car doesn't move for second or two. One time it didn't move at all and I had to turn off the engine. The first time I thought is was the cheap Arco gas, but since then I haven't use Arco and I can sometimes feel like the car is about to die when I turn hard right.

Anyone have this issue?

Only 30000 miles on the truck and I noticed some shake in the front end under braking. Took it to the dealer and service manager said the front rotors are warped. He also said it was not a warranty issue but agreed to fix it as a "good will gesture" this once, after a lot of talking. I see no way I could have possibly taxed these rotors enough to warp them having never towed anything and still having significant life left on the brake pads.

Has anyone else had issues with the rotors on their 08 and up Sequoia? I did a search and found one thread but wanted to see how many, if any, had issues.

Hi guys , my first post.. anyway I just ordered a 2010 Platinum and I want to lift it and put on a super charger. the dealer is telling me that they can do a rev tech spacers on the front and trick the rear bags into thinking they are level when they are actually extended 2 inches. My Question is what is exactly going on with the front OEM Coil overs that will not allow them to be replaced? is it just a sensor or do they actually have something making them stiffer in each susp setting? can some clairify what is going on on the front of the platinum.. Pictures or something... Why do hte OEM Springs have to stay?
I really do not like the spacers and would like to use the replacement coilovers..

TIA..

Have an 04 sr5 sequoia, and dealing on an 2010. Its an sr5 with 5.7, 4wd and fabric seats. Msrp of $43,180. Checked two dealers and best price is $41,484. Problem is that its the only sr5 thats close and still is 700 miles away, so there is an added destination charge. Actually the local dealer is offering me a better deal than the dealer thats holding it. Both will give me $15,000 for trade in. My 04 has 72,000 miles and is in good shape, except rear hatch doesn't want to open sometimes(is the 2010 better in that regard?)

Toyota has no incentives now, and local dealer has nothing but platinums coming in(too rich for my blood). Wondering if I should say the heck with it and run the 04 till the wheels fall off; however I like to trade every 5-6 years. Guess I should have done this earlier for an 08, but hindsight is 20-20.
