ok i had the local dealership find me a tundra speced the way wanted it. the msrp on the truck is $30,385. so i got them to sell me the truck for 26,130.00. I think this a good deal but should i try to get more off or be happy with what i got. i have not put down any money. if so how do i negotiate a bigger discount after having them pick up the truck for me?

also they are not giving me the 1.9 financing through toyota? i have an awesome credit score. they said i can get the financing at 1.9 or pay almost retail for truck.

what do you guys think?

If you have the driving bug and plan to drive it home, remember CA tax law requires a vehicle that's driven off my lot have sales tax collected on it. Our sales tax is 9.75% so if your home state is less tax, calculate the difference and see if it's better to transport/ship it rather than fly in and drive it home!

I have had an impossible time trying to get this truck as built from any dealer in the Phoenix area. Everyone keeps trying to sell me a different color or $5,000 in options they've already installed. I am looking for this truck at LEAST with these options. I plan on scrapping the stock suspension so TRD would be a waste. I don't mind if it comes with more but I'm not interested in paying for them. I forgot to add it to the build but I am also interested in the bed rug (carpeting) and the sonar.

I placed an order a week back for a 2010 Tundra.

I have a build date of November 2, 2009.

When I asked for an estimated delivery date the dealer simply stated "Probably around Christmas" :td:

Has anyone ever ordered a truck? How many work weeks did it take to get to you? (I am throwing out Thanksgiving week for the holiday)

I am getting a little too anxious! I am driving a borrowed car in the mean time and do not know if I can handle 2 months of driving this POS! :D
