any thoughts?

obviously they are BFG AT KO, on XD Hoss - but what do yall think the actual sizes of each are? They look like 20 inch rims to me... Looks like a good fit for a stock Tundra.

Hey guys was just searching around on a chevy forum looking at lifts and stuff and heard about this website with some sick tire deals...the lowest i have found
The website is treaddepot.com

325/50R/22= 35.5/13/22 Toyo Open Country A/T, was only $340 per tire

37x1350x22 Kumho M/T were only $393 per tire

sorry was only looking at these sizes but im sure their smaller sizes are just as good.
Just trying to share the wealth

In the next month or so I should have my lift/wheels/tires. I've decided on the Nitto mud grapplers (35x12.50x20)

Its a 2010 Tundra and it's my daily driver and I live in Oregon and we tend to get a lot of rain =) Now, I know they aren't a "rain" tire but will they be ok for normal use in wet weather?

Just want to make sure there is nothing I should be aware of.

Thanks

I have had the same 35x12.5x20 Toyo Open Country MT's and 6" Pro Comp lift kit for two years so it is not the tires. Any ideas?:(

I'm planning to upgrade my rims and tires. I will be pulling small popup camper and going long distance occasionally. My first thought was to get the Michelin LTX M/S because it is so quiet on the road. I had it on my tacoma and loved it.

But now, i see the BFG KO and it looks much more aggressive and looks better. My concern is i'm worried about the road noise the BFG might produce. We will be going long distance and after hours of driving, i don't want wife and kids to get annoyed by the noise.

So, question is . . . Does the BFG makes a lot of road noise? Is it tolerable for wife on long road trips?

How do the stock Bridgestone tires work in the snow? I know they are just an all season passenger radial, but I am curious how they do in the slippery stuff. I would like to get new tires, but it's not going to happen before the snow flies. I'm sure I will be doing a fair amount of driving in the snow this winter?
thoughts?

Just wanted to give you guys the heads up about the Firestone alignment program. They have regular alignment for $69.99, or a lifetime alignment, which means that you purchase that and you can come in as many times as you want and get your vehicle aligned without additional cost for $159.99. Currently Firestone is having a coupon for the month of November, which can be found here.

It is recommended that you get your vehicle every month, or 10,000 miles and everytime you get new tires. I went and got mine done today! Runs smooth like a caddy now ;)

Hi,

I'm currently riding on BFG Ragged Trails P275/65/R18. I have a 2008 Tundra with the TRD Off Road Package. I have the Tundra skid plate installed. I plan on (or hope to) buying the BFG AT KO 285/65/18. Can I go from the 275 to 285 size without experiencing any rubbing? Will I have to cut the skid plate?

What is the largest sized tire I can install on my 18" stock wheels?

Thanks,
I also was told to hold off until the new year when all the wheel manufacturers come out with their new designs and re-stock their distributors.

Hi,

I was driving on a well used logging road in Northern Maine, when my warning light came on...

Hi,

I was driving on a well used logging road in Northern Maine, when my warning light came on that I was losing air pressure. Stopped my 2008 Toyota Tundra TRD Double Cab to check out my tires, and watched in horror as my passenger tires front and rear slowly went FLAT! I have the stock tires BFG P275/65/R18 Rugged Trail T/A. Not "Rugged" at all!!

Must have hit a sharp stone - hole was in the same area on each front and rear tire!

So, now, I'm looking for a set of replacement tires. Don't laugh, but my dream tire will have the following qualities:

(1) a tire that will give me the most off road protection (10 Ply);

(2) handle rain and snow;

(3) not be a hard riding, and a noisy tire during extended highway driving.

(4) can I go up in size from 275 to 285 with my 18" wheels?

Ok, what tire types.models can you recommend for me, and thanks so much for your help!!!

FredSG
