Bug Magnet

My last few runs of any distance sure point out the angle of the FJ's windshield. Sometimes the bug splatters are so bad I have to stop and clean the screen. It seems no bug will ever just bounce off: all must turn themselves inside out in front of me!

I have yet to have a stone hit it, but must confess that I cringe every time a gravel truck rolls by, remembering the earlier posts about breakages. Hate to imagine what hitting a crow might do!

At night near agricultural fields in Louisiana, the bugs sound like rain, and I'm constantly spraying them off. I've already got two cracks from rocks, and I'm not looking forward to replacement of the windshield, as it will just get cracked again.
