Does the rear view mirror have map lights?

(My 08 FJ will be delivered to me in Germany in January)

No, they do not. Not that I can find. There is no wiring for it in the wire schematic either.
This is the removal instructions for the inner rear view mirror and it mentions nothing about unpluging it.

My mother had one on a her Toy Corolla and easy to turn on when adjusting mirrror which causes light to stay on during AM hours meaning DEAD BATTERY!! Light was on back side of mirror and you could not tell ya turned it on during daytime, cost me a battery since i messed it up!! i would think the NAV function over there would be worth the money!! not sure if it's avail on FJ but probably!!

Ya, I have seen that issue with alot of the corollas with that type mirror.

i took the bulb out and no more problems!!

NO GPS for the 07, it interferes with the drivers sight.
The 08 dash has been redesigned.

The accessory (altimeter/compass) meter can be added but the dash pad needs to be changed also. The wiring should be there, but you'll have to check. It doesnt show a wire harness without accessory meter, so I assume it is wired for it, but it shows different a dash for it.
