I'm not for sure, but i think your 05 doesn't have sensors in the wheels, but uses the abs system to sense one wheel spinning faster than the others, and a low tire would spin faster
If yu have rubber valve stems then yu have an indirect TPMS. Uses ABS speed sensor to determine rotational diferences when PSI changes inside each tire.
If yu have metal valve stems, then yu have a direct TPMS and each wheel's valve is a PSI sensor and wirelessly tells the system exactly how much PSI is in each tire including the spare.
