Default stereo head units

A friend of mine bought one and asked me if the double din opening is of he same size as the tundras. and what is the best one (head units)to buy.. He really liked my Kenwood /Garmin nav. unit

I talked to a representative of a stereo/alarm dealership and he had nothing but praises for the Kenwood 7100 nav.I have the 5435 Eclipse nav. and no complaints at all.Don't get the Pioneer D3 the nav. is next to a joke.
