Default Alarm Randomly Goes Off?

I was wondering if any other FJ owner's out there are having the same problem I am.

I have an '07 FJ MT with about 10,500 miles on it and I have the keyless entry. Every once in a while the alarm on my vehicle starts going off for no apparent reason. It happens randomly, and when it does the doors are are locked. The only way to get it to stop is to press the unlock button on the FOB repeatedly for about 5-8 seconds. Again, it goes off randomly with nobody ever touching or getting anywhere near it, it will just be sitting in my driveway.

The last time I took it to the dealership for an oil change I mentioned it and they said that unless it did it while the vehicle was there they wouldn't be able to determine what the problem is.

Has anyone else had or heard of someone who has had a similar issue?

My 1990 4runner did that. But I had 230,000 miles on it. I would demand that your dealership reprogram the alarm or replace it. How often does it do it? My 4runner did it every couple of hours... that got annoying.

As of right now it's doing it about 3 or 4 times a week.
