Angry Help Programming a key fob

I am training for an ironman and as such have lost my keys with Fob and my backup set too! I have a 2007 FJ cruiser. I purchase 2 semi-used ones from ebay and 1 from keyless rides. Using the followoing procedure I was able to program 1 from ebay and the keyless ride one:
  • drivers door open unlocked
  • insert key an dreomove 2x
  • close and open driver door 2x
  • insert key and reomove from ignition
  • close and open driver door 2x
  • close driver door
  • insert key trun to on then to off and remove
  • locks cycle
  • press and both lock and unlock simulktaneously on transmitter for 1s
  • then press and hold unlock on transmitter for 2 secs
  • locks cycle
  • transmitter programmed.
This procedure work for the ebay and the keyless ride one. the second ebay one I got all the way to the locks cycling once but then got no response after holding both lock unlock and then unlock for 2s which means not programmmed.

This would have been the fifth programmed transmitter ( 2 originals, 3 repLAcemeNts) Is that th eproblem? If So, How do I remove all programmed and start fresh?

Both units from ebay were
fcc id:hyq12ban
canada:15511021295
rss-210
denso
unti from Keyless was
fcc#HYQ12BBX
IC#1551A-12BBX
DENSO

i WOULD THINK THE CANADA # MADE A DIFFERENCE BUT i WAS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY PROGRAM THE FIRST ONE i BOUGHT. I need help. I do not understand why I can not program this last transmitter? I have 3 more weeks to Ironman and surely am at risk of losing another fob! I also tried the pdf. programming option whereby you manually flip the locks 5x, etc. This procedure did nto work at all. Please help!!

Default Re: Help Programming a key fob

Your only allowed 4, you have to clear all of them and start over

2. REGISTER RECOGNITION CODE MANUAL OPERATION

(a) Check that the following conditions are met.

No key is in the ignition key cylinder.
Only driver side door is open.
(b) Insert the key into the ignition key cylinder, and remove it twice within 5 seconds.

(c) Perform the following operations within 40 seconds.

(1) Close and open the driver side door twice.

(2) Insert the key into the ignition key cylinder, then remove it.

(d) Perform the following operations within 40 seconds.

(1) Close and open the driver side door twice.

(2) Insert the key into the ignition key cylinder and close all doors.

(e) Perform the following operations within 40 seconds.

(1) Turn the ignition switch from LOCK to ON and back to LOCK 1 to 5 times at approximately 1 second intervals to select a mode (see the table below).

YOU NEED 2 TIMES, This will clear the memory. (its called rewrite mode)

Then go back and do it the way you were and program the 3 remotes you have. Cycle the key 1 time (this is ADD mode)
