chips again
I have owned several vehicles with vertical windscreens (jeeps, early broncos, etc.) and have NEVER encountered chipping like the FJ produces. The first time mine chipped there were no other vehicles on the road...I'm not sure it wasn't a hard bug!!!

I'm kind of biased where I live, since there is so much construction going on and every construction site has dump trucks... that and I work right next to the waste management transfer station. I drive behind many a large trucks that drop stuff behind them, inevitably bouncing up onto my hood and windshield. My bug shield helps a little I suppose, but I've got a dozen rock chips and nicks on my hood and windshield. Bums me out just thinkin' about it.
