Got the FJ keys for a week

When I heard and saw the new FJ Cruiser, I loved the design and I was seriously considering trading my beloved Tundra in for one. I held off, because I didn't want to contend with the "first-year-model" blues and bugs. Besides, I'm having a custom, commissioned piece of unique artwork of my Tundra.

i saw the FJ in person at the Detroit motor show. they actually had several. i have some pics which i will try to post. never done it before. i have loved the looks from the first time i saw it and thought it would be fun to own. having sat in it my thoughts are that it will be a very capable off roader, but it has a lot of plastic, which all cars do now. i was at the show early with ford engineers and they know a lot of inside stuff. basically, every car now is made of plastic crap, the trick is to produce a vehicle that feels less like crap and plastic. the winner is the one whose plastic vehics. have the best plastic feel. if you don't like plastic you are screwed.

not sure I like it at all yes it's ugly sort of like the hummer h2 but I hope it sell's well and the fuel Mpg isn't that bad look's like where in another pricey gas period planned for this summer.....

Any idea on what the MPG is for the 4x2 and 4x4?

good question I have to guess the same as a 4 door tacoma with the same v6 engine....

this thing has appeal to me unlike the ugly Honda, its because it looks
