Anyone know if you can program extra key fobs without going to the dealer?

What is the FCC # on the fob, what vehicle & vehicle year

The procedure is outlined in the Service Manual and does not require special tools. Up to 4 fobs can be registered.

Hi Glenn-
Could you please confirm if the correct procedure for the FJ is the one listed on pages DL-85 through DL88., in the manual. I was given copies of those pages but don't know if it is the FJ Cruiser manual. The text is under the heading:
2. Register Recognition code manual operation.
The page says DOOR LOCK-door control transmitter module.This is printed at the top above the black line.

Anyone had the problem on the 07 FJ where the keyless transmitter nor the auto lock will lock the rear door? Mine is not working unless I use the key to lock or unlock the rear door?
I also would like to have the procedure for reprogramming the HYQ12BBX if someone has them and cares to post the instructions.

Responding to myself for others to benefit:-)
Took my FJ to the dealer and after a 3 hour wait was informed the rear door ECU was faulty. Part ordered should fix the problem.
