Default A-TRAC Question

Does anyone know how the A-TRAC system is enabled in the upgrade package? I looked at both models with and without and the ABS controllers are configured exactly the same. Is there some module that gets installed, or enabled?

I found the answer here for those interested http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...ghlight=A-TRAC

This makes finding a base model much nicer, the only qualifier is that you need the locking rear diff. which on a 6 speed is standard.

Less is better sometimes.

BTW, fjcruiserforums.com is a great site too.

Smile Re: A-TRAC Question

All you need is the A-TRAC switch, it is plug and play. installed the $70.00 sw today and tested it out. Everything is already installed they just leave out the sw. Not bad a $2000.00 option for $70.00.

Look around, you should be able to get the switch for under $50. Remember you need to get an FJ with the locking rear diff. The ABS controller is different in the units without the locking diff.
