Well according to your attachement JT321 would mean: That this vehicle is a standard cab, 2WD truck (J) with a 2UZ-FE engine (T) base model (2) and is a Tundra (1). I don't understand what the 2 means

The JU321 is almost the same, except that it has the 1GR-FE engine.

This is correct.

J = Reg Cab 4X2 (Tundra)
T = 2UZ-FE, 1NZ-FE
3= SERIES ( not 100% sure either)
2 = DLX, DX, XLE, Sport, Limited
1 = Tundra

The attachment is for 08 VIN decoder, and works for most vehicles.
