Default Who has the best price on the FJ ????

I'm ready to buy next week and I need to know where I can get the best price on this vehicle. I'm in Santa Clarita (about 35 miles North of LA) but I'm willing to travel to get the best deal. I'm looking for a loaded Voodoo Blue 4X4.

Anyone got some information?

Thanks

if you don't have a good contact with a toyota dealership then the best you will do is MSRP, you can read my "how to buy" on another thread, but the short version for you is simple: Go on one of the car web site like kbb.com and go to "get a quote". You should be able to get a list of a lot of local dealerships. Compile all the email addresses of all the dealers into one email and send out a request for quote. Let them know exactly what you want and that you want to buy it right away. I personally would wait till around the 20th of the month so that you get someone who may need to sell a vehicle. Anyway send out the email and see what comes back. I used a connection to buy mine, but I still sent out the email for the hell of it and I got 2 MSRP quotes from dealers with the vehicle on the lot.

I still cannot imagine why someone would pay over MSRP.

here in Ohio, they are STACKING up on the lots......Germain Toyota has 4 of them, Toyota Direct has 4 of them, and Tansky Toy has 6 of them....I went looking, and I'll buy in 08, but they can't move them here.....don't know why, I think it's related to gas mileage a lot.

Yeah the same thing happened here after the "newness" wore off on the 05 Tacomas. Now you can buy them at invoice or below. The same thing will happen with these FJs. Just give it a few more months. For the life of me I don't understand why anyone would pay MSRP or anwhere near it for that matter. If the model is that popular just have some patience and wait. Sounds like it is already happening where you are at. I also agree that the process is probably being accelerated by gas prices.

Yeah I hear you. I've never paid MSRP before and I'm not looking forward to doing it now. MY wife totaled her car so we need a vehicle now. Since she was the one that crashed and the last 3 new cars went to her, she's gonna get my 2001 Camry and I'll get the FJ. I just wish it was a better time but this car rental is costing a lot every day I rent it. I don't really want to get a temporary piece of sh!t either so I guess I'm gonna have to pay. The best deal I've found so far is either 500 below MSRP or 300 below MSRP plus a XM satellite radio with 9 months paid membership. That's about it right now.
