Default If You Had Problems with OEM Hitch Fitting Please Post Here

I am wondering how many people are having problems with the Toyota OEM trailer hitch fitting their FJ Cruiser. I have had two Toyota hitches, and neither of them would fit. On the first one, the #1 bolt (left rear lower) would not line up to the threaded hole in the frame. On the second hitch, none of the rear bolt holes lined up. In addition, the top flange was not square.

Let me know if you have had problems getting it to fit.

Michael
