Hello everyone, loving my FJ!

I registered months ago, lurked and became convinced that FJ was for me. Did the test drive and listened to the sales drone sling the BS. I negotiated them "down" to only MSRP, but worked them on my beautiful trade, a one-owner, well two with me, MR2 that they sold directly to a dealership mechanic.

I teach high school, and when I arrived in the parking lot the first day was greeted by boys wanting to check it out. It was embarrassing, and some of the parents probably thought I was like the Florida teacher gone bad since we look alike.

After a careful break in, I'll get better tires to get up mountains to my favorite ski areas. That's why I got the M/T truck, for the full time system.

So far very pleased with all aspects. Plus it feels like I'm driving a military assault vehicle through a gun slit, so much fun!

Thanks for all the great tips and tricks here, they got me up to speed without even reading the manual, but I'll do that soon and hopefully contribute something useful as my FJ experience grows. See you on the slopes!
