Cool FJ Headlight Upgrade

Hey all!
I installed a HID Xenon Headlight 8000k Blue Kit in my FJ and wow what a difference, mucho visibility. It made driving it much more fun at night not to mention I have had a few FJ owners ask if they were an option at Toyota. Also for snow drivers, I could not believe the visibility compared to Halogen bulbs ~ Wow!

How much did it cost? My FJ lights are the best I've ever had in a vehicle I've owned. I want to add fog and driving lights soon for looks more than visibility.

What kit did you use? I've been unimpressed with the OEM setup.

8000K is generally way too "blue" the best light output is actually closer to 4300K or so, which is what OEM Xenon/HID lights use.

I got a 4300K kit from XenonDepot on my old 4Runner, thinking about doing something similar for my new FJ. Solid kits, easy to install.

I am also interested in upgrading my headlights and have been considering the 6000k HID kit from Xenondepot. My concerns are as follow:

1. Is retrofit necessary in order for it to have that nice crisp look without excessive glare and poor beam pattern?

2. What are the pros/cons of have reflective vs projector beams?

3. Are the kits easy to install and safe (I do not want to have any electrical problems)

I'd greatly appreciate any input and advice-Thanks
