Actually it had warmed up some the day before was 20 below zero. Getting rid of the DRL's was the first thing we did.

Thanks for looking and commenting

Why did you disconnect the DRLs? Is there a problem with DRLs and cold weather?

We take photos of free ranging wildlife and that requires us going into the woods very early while still dark in the mornings. Also I have permission to cross numerous ranches to get our photos.

Reason: Lights will spook the wildlife out of the fields and my agreement with some of the ranches is I won't bother the wildlife and won't use lights. Our goal is to get the photos with out distrubing the animals on private property or on public land.

I have no idea about the DRL's and cold weather because the first thing I did when I got the camera wagon home is disconnect them.

Okay. It sounded like from the first two posts that people were having problems with the DRLs because of cold weather.
