Default FJ Alarm systems

I want to purchase an alarm system for my FJ and I found out that there are several types. There is the RS 3200 plus with a Glass break sensor, specifically for the FJ and it is on Back order. Then there is the RS3200 plus with a proximity sensor specifically for the FJ also on B/O, and the Generic RS3200 Plus that is used on most Toyotas (available). I am told that they all have an immobilizer and work with the remote keyless entry key Toyota key fob. Can anyone tell me the differences between the options? Which one provides the best protection? Pros cons?

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: FJ Alarm systems

Well, I took my FJ in for Toyota alarm system: RS3200Plus (for the FJ- not generic) with GBS (Glass Break Sensor) and Radar and Radar cut off switch. Nice system. It was a big job that took about 2.5 hours. Required removal of the center lower IP panel, Glove box, scuff plates, kick pads, foot rest, center console, steering column cover etc. Along with the normal attributes of door opening and immobilizer, the neat feature is the Radar motion detector with a disable switch. The radar senses movement in the vehicle. You can turn it off if you want (maybe for a pet or something). The only thing I don't care for is the car horn . I would like a loud wooping ear piercing sirien. Other than that,
