O.K. I called STS and asked if they had a bolt on coming out, no. But if anyone want's to they can save "several thousand dollars" by letting STS use your truck as a design mule. Honestly, I would do it. I really would. I'd drive the wife's car and dream of my new and improved truck. The problem is they are in freaking Idaho and I'm in Tampa.

On a side note: I got to see and hang out with some serious custom race guys at their shop in Orlando and that's were I was turned on to STS. This was several years ago. This guy had a shop that looked like something Jay Leno would have if he were into Vipers and Vettes. He had more Vipers in there getting turbos and nos than at the dealerships. Anyway it made me realize STS isn't as crappy as some people might think. Yes their systems are very affordable but if you want it done right with all the turbo add on's it get's just as expensive as the other induction systems.

Sorry for the rant I'm not trying to sell the things just adding in my opinion with some once forgotten memories. Maybe it will help someone out. Anyway, I just everyone to have bada$$ Tundra's I don't care how we do it.

Thanks man, I almost went the STS route with my truck but there is just something about getting to keep my warranty with TRD that I can't pass up. I would love to see what kind of power it would produce though.

Yes, both the TRD SC and the STS TC are coming out. You will start to hear about the kits' release toward the middle to end of 08'.

Anyone in Idaho can get a free install and huge discount with 100% custom built Turbo kit tuned to the 10th power. STS is looking for a few good men to loan their trucks out so they can design the kit. Realistically you would probably save $1500 give or take. The main advantage would be all the pro's and designer's are working on your truck. It would a one off setup and your truck would most likely be photographed, taped and marketed.

This is all speculation of course but from what I've heard from STS personnel and seen on their website it's definitely within the realm of possibilities.

Some dealerships are taking orders for the TRD supercharger already. You get your name on a backorder list for now. Also on the TRD website they have added this "TRD Supercharger 3UR 5.7L V-8 Hoist Mounting Bracket".
