What gear do you go through the traps in, and what rpm?
I am into 3rd just a little before the 1/8th. Could not tell you the RPM's I am always filming incab video. Have about 32 videos on youtube of races. Just search for KINGMADE.

The best way to predict what revs / gear you will run through the traps in the quarter would be using a dragstrip simulator.
I know it is important to not have the truck upshifting and then have the revs down in a hole for a length of time on the big end. Ideally you want to be revving high and just about to shift while you trap.
These days with five speed autos, it is much easier to avoid this than in the old days with TH400s and TH350 three speeds. Nitrous works great when you can't otherwise get around low rev problems.
you gotta pretty quick truck, but you will have to get more mods if you want to tackle a reg. cab.
Yeah once it is all said and done, I don't plan on being able to beat a reg cab. I am the one that started the thread on club titan that the RCSB was the real deal Nice trucks guys. Really just looking to run the bigger tundras. But i have not been able to line up at the track with anyone of them so even racing a RC will make me happy.
Yeah they do, I wouldn't own a reg cab becuase i love my backseat and car audio. Even with the crewcab getting subs in is a pain if you want anything bigger than a couple 10's.
Should be right around tax return time then, sweet
I feel realitivly confident that TRD will release the s/c next year. They did do the same thing with the new Tacomas when they came out. It's been 3 years now and they are just getting theirs...
Actually, IIRC, they said they were going to come out with the S/C soon after the 4th gen 4runner (with the "new" 4.0l) came out in late '02, so we're going on 5 years... Has anyone actually touched a production 4.0 S/C yet?

Yup, there is a guy that actually has it pretty much installed but is waiting on TRD to release the new "flash" for the ecu to work correctly with the s/c. TRD has listed 309hp with the s/c, not sure if that's at the crank or the wheels. Should get the Tacos in the mid to low 13s I believe. Of course I'm sure someone will make a smaller pulley and really push it to the limit.
Here is the link with the guy installing it: TRD supercharger - Page 3 - CustomTacos.com Forum

By any chance have you looked at a Tundra regular cab? They have lots of room for subwoofers, etc behind the front seats. I was seriously looking at the DC, but after looking at the space behind the seats in the regular cab I decided that was plenty of room for me since I rarely carry more than one or two other people with me.
I am in the process of installing an audio system that will have a full size 12" subwoofer, a 4-channel amp and a subwoofer amp, 6.5" components in the doors and a new double din head unit. Once I get the equipment installed I am going to build a box to fill the entire area behind the seats to enclose the amps and leave me a very nice storage area.
I could easily place a pair of 12" subwoofers back there and a couple of 6.5's if I wanted to as well.

2 kids no room in the RC but when they are out of the house i will probably go nutz with some kind of sports car/truck.
Anybody at SEMA ask TRD when the 5.7L Charger will be out? There seems to be not much info our right now. Also, they removed it from the website as well.
