Default Volant Intake

$398 ON SALE!
I just don't think that there worth that kind of money.
If they were 1/2 that price I'd jump on one but since there not I think I'm going the drop in route.

I have seen the AFE intake with a dry filter for $293 shipped on ebay.

From what I've read.. this is a Coke or Pepsi question .. the answer is whatever you choose will be the right one for you.. But sometimes.. people just prefer water.

Enjoy your choice, it's great living in America were we have choices...

I agree about the service from Sparks Toyota. They will make it right no matter what. Worth the few extra $$ to me. I have been told the TRD CAI is a rebadged AFE. I like the red tube and the time to clean indicator.

Just waiting for a few extra bucks to buy the DT headers and the TRD supercharger when it comes out.
Can anyone verify that the TRD is an AFE rebadged? If so, the AFE seems to be cheaper from what I have researched.

Dual straight out the back 2 in and 2 out exhaust, TRD CAI, and maybe a leveling kit. If I win the lottery, a supercharger will fit nicely.

From the pix, the filter inside the box is totaly different on the TRD versus the AFE. That still does not mean that it is not made by AFE though. TRD could have spec's calling for that type of filter assembly.
