Airaid installed! *PICS*

i installed an airaid in my 5.7 and a) did sound louder and deeper and b) felt a palpable increase in power--no hesitation. i assume you have checked all your connections and they are tight. good luck.

I also have an airade intake. I took about 45min to install. As directed I disconnected the negative terminal and installed. As soon as the last bolt was tightened I started the beast and drove around the block and was not very happy with the performance and sound. When I got home I started to think about the $275 I spent and wanted to take it out and return it. The very next day I drove about 75 miles and the truck truly came to life. I have a duel flowmaster custom exhaust to compliment it. Every time I come home the neighborhood knows it. The sound the intake gave this truck is incredible. Point being I was so excited about the airade that I think I was expecting to much. You do get a reasonable increase in HP and gas mileage but you will never see it due to growing size of your right foot. VETKILR I see you live in Tampa try coming across the Cortney campbell causeway (SR-60) and go to S&M truck world. Ordered mine on Tuesday and had it on Thursday morning charged me $275 and change. Worth every $
