anybody have any good suggestions for cold air intake for O7 5.7L just did exhaust flowmaster series 40 dual in single out.

Tons of feedback if you take the time to search. I have the afe and love it because it looks good and its a closed box so it truly is a cold air kit and I like the fact that you can get a dry filter so you dont have to worry about the oil messing with the sensors.

Here is a link to my review of the Volant. I've had it for about a week now and I really like it. I installed Zoomers cat back exhaust over the weekend and they compliment each other well.

Loaded 07 LTD 4x4 DC 5.7. ARE Cap, Yakima Rack, Toytec 3" Lift, ProComp 8166 Wheels, Nitto Terra Grappler 305/55/20's, Bullhide Spray-In Liner, Volant CAI, Black Headlight Mod, Zoomers Cat back exhaust.

Still to Come: Headers? Speaker/Sub upgrades? What else? Supercharger........? I'm sure I'll think of something.

okay the AFE is a brand. im guessing the CAI is the california emissions models? and the afe is a dry filter is the TRD a dry filter? what did you pay for the AFE?

AFE (stage 2 ProDry), Volant are dry. I think the Airraid, K&N, TRD, and a different AFE model are all oiled.

thank you. that helps a lot. does the oil cause any problems (if oiled properly)? any idea on HP gains for the dry AFE or Volant?

CAI stands for "cold air intake." As to date, no intake is California emissions legal except for the TRD intake.
