Does not compute. Please restate the question. what year truck? Are you trouble shooting your truck here or are we talking about the mythical 5.7 charger?

to find a boost leak on my old turbo civic i used a pvc cap (homemade) drilled to hold a tire valve stem pushed from the inside and fassened to the turbo intake with a coupler and then used my compressor to put air in and listen for leaks in piping. sorry for the crude explination
here is a pic i found
for a super charger i don't know if this would work

have it running, use some carb cleaner and see when the idle changes as u spray the cleaner at places that it could leak

One problem with that... A supercharger puts positive pressure in the manifold, it will not suck the carb cleaner in.

I like the idea of closing off the intake pipe with the PVC and tire valve and listening for it, or feeling for it. You would just have to find a spot in the rotation where all intake valves are closed ( with more cylinders, such a spot may not exist).
