Re: cold air intakes
i personally like the volant. not a lot of noise. looks good under the hood. gas mileage has went up some when i drive it right. no oil filter. there are a million threads on here so just do a search and you'll find a million different answers.
you can look in my photo gallery and find a picture of the volant installed if you'd like.

Re: cold air intakes
I got an FIPK on mine, and its LOUD!!!!!!!
I would do a Volant the next go round. The noise doesn't bother me that much, except when I am towing my boat.

Re: cold air intakes
TRD CAI is a not nonsense install. If the dealer puts it on, it is covered for the duration of the factory warranty. Pricy to buy and it does have a filter element that requires periodic cleaning and oiling. Quiet operation and the red tube and massive filter housing looks really cool.

Re: cold air intakes
If a toyota dealership does the intall on any TRD item, ( IE: my TRD CAI ) its warranted for the full amount of your warranty. Thats the standard 3yr/36k warranty or up to the full extended warranty. If its not installed by a toyota dealership / tech, its only warranted for 1 year or 12000 miles, whichever comes first, Magnusson-Moss Act or not.
