The stock airbox lower section is retained.... not sure if anything is.
This box uses a flat panel filter w/ carbon/charcoal filter thingy. It has the bellmouth intake along w/ increased volume over the stock box.... more volume is more good.

Reason: Mark beat me to it...
So is it compatible with the TRD intake as well? Thanks!
as per TRD, no, the inlet tube is bent wrong and something to do with the air meter mounting was different(i think on the meter deal)......that's why they send the other top part of the air box..........

The airbox tube where the MAF sensor mounts is about .5" LARGER than stock or the TRD unit.... It then tapers to the throttle body. The supercharger inlet is also larger than the t-body, it expands back out in diameter after it (t-body). One might speculate a larger t-body was in the original plan, but left out to keep the skyrocketing cost of this ultra sweet and complete kit a little more friendly.
Be seeing you there next Friday when Erik stops in on the way to our hotel in Myrtle Beach. I'll be easy to recognize.. I'm the er.. chubby one.. and erik's the, ah yes, skinny one.

Come to think of it, do guys realize this things gonna make over 500 crank hp with the stock exhaust having all those restrictions ( 2 inch piping in some areas !!! )
Wow, imagine how much more hp/torque you could potentially gain from a high flow exhaust system and a decent tune
I can't wait to find out !
