Hey Mark, Jamie and the Sparks Crew,

I just got back home with the Tundra. We drove 1045 miles in 17hrs with the s/c. We didnt want to get outta the truck and decided to drive straight thru. The truck is unbelieveable on the highway! Going thru the mountains near Asheville the truck went from 60 to 90 in the length of a semi. The mileage is even better on the highway than before. I will post details on that later when I get some sleep. Its 3am here and Im beat. Thanks again Mark, Jamie, Jim, Brock and the Sparks Girls you were great!!!!!!!!

Pete

Ok I had a post all written but for some reason couldnt post it.... maybe I need a few more hours sleep.

On the way down to Myrtle Beach the truck averaged 16.8 overall.

On Marks tip we drove the truck in the sport mode with it in 6th gear to help eliminate the truck downshifting as much.

When we left Myrtle Beach the truck was getting around 18.8 mpg. As we got into the mountains going towards Asheville it dropped down to 17.8. Driving thru Kentucky the average went back up to 18.2. A stop in Ohio for gas and a few 0 to 60 or so runs the average dropped back to 18 mpg. As we go into flatter areas the average began to go way back up with an ending average of 18.5 mpg.

The truck with the s/c at highway speeds just pulls and pulls and goes from 60 to 90 in seconds.

I will have to see how it does with in town driving but that will be very hard to keep my foot out of it at every traffic light

Anyone know if there is a difference in the ECU between a vehicle destined for Canada and one that is going to stay in the US?

The code that came up when the computer was plugged in, was the same as the one listed in the s/c instructions. That would make me think the same flash could be used.

I sent you a PM reminder. Did you get that? You were on a list of about 10 people I sent the reminder to.
Sorry you missed it. There's another meet coming up in NC some time in the upcoming months. Maybe Sept or Oct. After the tourist summer season and the schools are back in session.

That's nice to hear that the fuel economy didn't suffer during cruising.

Is there anyway I can convince you to take your camera outside right now and record a couple of speedo shots for 0-60, 40-80, etc.??? Maybe even take it to the track this weekend? All of the other videos that have been posted don't give us a good perspective to compare to...

Nope and I just looked I don't have any... It's been crazy around here... I really hate I missed the meet and the SC Tundra. It sounds like everyone had a great time and I would have loved to get my truck in that oily mud!

Keep me in mind for the NC Event!

Back on topic... Mike if I happen through MB this weekend anyway is there a chance I could test drive that Supercharged Tundra?
