The S/C is a twin rotor design, each rotor has 4 blades and it pushes out 8 1/2 lbs of boost.

what do you guys think is the highest possible boost you could SAFELY get out of this thing? 10lbs...12lbs? URD will hopefully make a pulley for it... and will a different ECU tune allow you to up the boost levels as well? and lastly, is the trd intake the only unit that will fit with the SC? id rather put a k&n on there (for the LOUD factor lol)

Nice man, thanks for sharing all the info! Nice to have a guy on the inside that doesn't mind sharing. I know it's not 100% accurate but just for fun I plugged in some numbers for the Tundra in a quarter mile calculator. Came up with a 12.905!!! You add exhaust cut outs and some sticky tires and I'm thinking mid 12s are doable, thats Corvette zone right there

If the K&N flows the same it MIGHT be able to be used, but it is tuned for the TRD
Yes, You will need another ECU to tune it for other MODS.
You can not change the upper pulley,there is not enough room for a smaller pulley, it will hit the S/C nose cone, you will have to have a LARGER crank pulley toi spin it faster and get more boost.

Hmm i expected better than that for that kind of hp increase which leads me to my next question. What model Tundra did they have the s/c on, crewmax, dbl cab? I know it'll never had happen but they need a TRD Sport pkg with trd intake, exhaust, lowering kit, sway bar, trd 22s, and most of all the s/c. Starting at 36k for the reg cab, sound good to me lol
It was the SEQUOIA 4x4, sorry forgot to add that last post.

It is what it is, and all this is also subjective to weather/fuel/road conditions/drivers foot weight/ect....
"NORMAL" driving it should stay the same or may loose 1 mpg or so.
If you drive it like it's stolen, like most people do with a S/C then as the BOOST goes up the GAS GAUGE goes DOWN.
