I used a bunch of different Online Calc's and it should be somewhere pretty close to 12.5... any experts out there that confirm at least a close estimate...?

There is NO NEW ECU. It is reprogrammed and NO it does not remove the speed limiter. You'll have to get another "aftermarket ECU" to do that. I am sure someone will come out with that. TOYOTA BIG WIGS in Japan have overseen this project since the beginning. Everything has to meet their standards so they can offer the "KEEP THE WARRANTY" so everything has to be as if it were for a production vehicle, thats why they keep the speed limiter "SAFETY". I dont necessarily agree, but it is what it is.
You get,
Fuel pump, injectors, intercooler, TRD intake, S/C and related components(bolts,clamps,hoses,ect....), auxilary coolant pump for intercooler, plugs, ECU FLASH programming, and probably some other stuff I dont remember.
Does this supercharger have a separate injector like the one for my 4.7 had?

NO, all 8 are replaced with new ones.
It is nothing like the 4.7 set up.
If I remember correctly it is a 1.8L S/C

I have 2 reasons why I would never put a S/C on my truck . 1) cost of kit/install. 2) can't afford to use the higher octane gas. Gas prices with the 87 is killing me and it's getting worse. I guess they are not for everyone. If I could afford it, however, I would have one in a heartbeat .

12.5 is if you had 504 at the wheel - it's going to have 504 at the crank, so its going tobe low 13's

Yes, IT IS 504/550 at the CRANKSHAFT.

I was thinking the same thing especially since my 2 mile trek to work every day is just killing me. It's basically for those that want to go fast and the heavy footed crowd. I say more power to you if you can afford it slap one on.

Yes but if we do go by the 100lb per 1/10 sec rule.... which I have heard is pretty accurate... then we are talking about a 12.3 1/4 mile.... assuming you track up.
Then for those of us with DT Headers and a nice Catback... that helps a lot. Talked to Brian from URD and he said they are no longer going to bring the Supercharger they already made for the tundra into production but as soon as he gets his hands on a few of these TRD chargers he is going to start mocking up all kinds of upgrades for us!
My appointment to get my valve body upgraded is in 3 weeks. John from IPT assured me it will chirp into second! Just the valve body alone will make a dramatic increase in the 1/4mile even on a stock tundra. Our trucks have such a soft "slipping outta control" shift right now.
I'm also hoping that with the TRD SC Reflash it will no longer cut short of redline in first to second shifts.
My 4link rear setup should give me all the "wheel planting" I need to get this thing flying off the line!
OMFG I cannot wait!!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Just remember, I said the 13 sec was an approximation, they did not show me a time slip.
But they are fast as HE11.
They also said the more weight they put in the trailer when they did tow tests, the better it did (felt), anyone who has towed knows what I mean.
Quote:
can the supercharger be installed at the factory when i order my tundra?
NO, It is a dealer installed Item only
