Then for those of us with DT Headers and a nice Catback... that helps a lot. Talked to Brian from URD and he said they are no longer going to bring the Supercharger they already made for the tundra into production but as soon as he gets his hands on a few of these TRD chargers he is going to start mocking up all kinds of upgrades for us!

My appointment to get my valve body upgraded is in 3 weeks. John from IPT assured me it will chirp into second! Just the valve body alone will make a dramatic increase in the 1/4mile even on a stock tundra. Our trucks have such a soft "slipping outta control" shift right now.

I'm also hoping that with the TRD SC Reflash it will no longer cut short of redline in first to second shifts.

My 4link rear setup should give me all the "wheel planting" I need to get this thing flying off the line!

OMFG I cannot wait!!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!
You're gonna have the fastest Tundra on here by far, can't wait to see the videos and pictures. I'm sure they'll be quite a few surprised vette drivers out there when you get through lol

Usually Toyota will not let you finance a supercharger... but if you pay seperately then yes they will do it.

You'll have to clarify with your local Toyota.

Mine won't even finance TRD anything... unless they are just options that the dealer pre installed and had on a truck on the lot.

Just wanted to chime in on the whole 100 lbs = 0.1s

These trucks are super heavy, and not very areo dynamic.

I think at best its 0.05s for these trucks per 100lbs.

That old rule of 100lbs = 0.1s is for light <3000lb cars.

Gonna be real hard to get a RCSB into the high 12's, slicks for sure.

I got all the parts (PTR11-34070-01, 02, 03) and had the kit installed at Lithia Toyota in Redding CA last week. Unfortunatley my truck had a driveline vibration due to driveline geometry beiing off. Contacted TRD and they want to buy the kit back and pay to have my original components re-installed...? TRD originally informed me that the PTR11-34070-02 would be available 5/16/08 but still don't see any of the PTR11 part numbers on TRD site.

I think it was more than a packaging issue. TRD does not seem to be up front with what is going on with these part numbers. I really wanted this kit but may be going with a flip kit if TRD does not get this fixed soon.

These trucks are heavier and are diesels but they run in the 10's so I would think the Tundra could do better than high 12's!

He's just saying without slicks it's going to be hard to get some decent traction with our open differentials.

Stock RCSB, with no mods and stock tires, will need a great track to be sub 13.5's. Major traction problems.

I for one can't wait to see some times. And someone is gonna get a RCSB into the 12's for sure, its just gonna take some other mods.

Those diesels would have well over 1000lbs torque (the cummins probably has 1500+), the trundra falls alittle short there.

So if it is factory installed, it keeps the factory warranty in place? Does that include the supercharger itself? Hmmmm...How would that affect towing?

Apintheca, that means you! lol
Getting the Tundra into the low 13s with just the s/c is guaranteed. Getting into the mid 12s will require some sticky tires and a good launch. I'm sure headers and exhaust would help also. And if not I'm sure we can count on our friends at URD to offer a new pulley for us Regardless we will be able to smoke 90% of the other cars on the road, well at least the ones around here

Niiiice, thanks for the $400 below MSRP also! Hmm I'm thinking bout buying the charger and building my own fit kit, what you think about that? lol I wish! Well look forward to seeing pictures when you get em in. Until then I'll be plotting a bank robbery that I won't go through with
