Default Volant Question

I got it installed and it sounds beastly, I was just wondering if it needs to be oiled when i installed it? It doesn't say anything or come with oil so I was just wondering so I dont burn anything up. Also their is no lil lid to cover where the ram air option is, its just a hole

Most filters come pre oiled and it may be the new dry type filter that they make. That hole gives you that ram boost when driving probably like that deckplate mod.LOL.Seriously I would find a way to route it down to fender to make you of that ram air.

i would do that, they have a piece you can buy for like $125 but I do go offroading and mudding and stuff so I dont want it to suck up water/mud or dirt and be screwed...so i just want to find a way to seal it off
