I am in the area and plan on checking it out soon.

Keep in mind this video test was shot in suburban Denver with an elevation well over 5000 ft. Even supercharged, its going to be slower than at lower elevations.

You can hear the tires spin almost all the way through 1st - N/A you can barely get them to chirp at this altitude. So its quite the torque improvement on the low end. Plus as the re-tuned ECU fine tunes its parameters I'm sure it will realize more power over time.

Cool. Give us the latest scoop afterwards. I'm hoping they'll let you test drive it. I checked here with my dealership and they only have 1 unit in stock. Has to be installed by their Master Tech.

I have to agree the cost is a little hard to take, but driveability with aftermarket kits is often a leap of faith. Little companies never test their kits at all altitudes / weather /wear conditions as Toyota would, and consequently you may wind up with hiccups and sputters under certain throttle levels etc. I hate to bring up the old "get what you pay for" phrase, but IMO there will be some truth to it in this case.

The 2009 F-150 guy is now the standard by which we all must follow. You can only race and speed upto the speed limit and you have to start in front or behind the vehicle your racing. It alot like the game tag just more stupid

Yeah they've started moving alot of dirt up there - They made/are making an exit off of 470 and are building roads up there so it looks there will be homes before too long...

And yes, I agree that doing this test on a residential street where the speed limit was most likely 25 mph was a little extreme. There are plenty of major roads around there they could have done that run-up on from a stoplight - Or better yet just waited until Bandimere...

Looking forward to test driving that truck. Or at least seeing a speedo shot/quarter mile run.

That's not an '04. Dash is different in the new gen. And that's not a 4.7. The blower feeds out of the front on the 4.7.

What?! You have no idea man...that truck is fast. Much faster than a stock 5.7 RCSB (which is a very fast truck already).
