325 RWHP stock? So you only have 15 percent loss even with an auto? That's not what I expected.

I estimated 20 percent loss for my 4x4, and I still only got 325 RWHP with intake and exhaust in New Jersey...

Glad the tires and drive shaft held together when spinning the rollers to 170 mph!

You can't get top speed off the dyno. While in a real world condition, resistance increased exponentially with speed.

And here is another bonus no speed limter no more. Or aleast up to 170mph. This is what it ran in 5th gear on the dyno. BTW all dyno pulls were in 4th up to 130mph. The 5th gear was a test to check speed limter. Also the charcoal screen in the TRD air box is not worth any power or boost. Also the TRD blower makes 7-1/2 lbs boost @ 5900rpms.
Very pleased with kit and we sell and install all makes and the TRD kit is very nice.
OK, so you're saying there's no more speed limiter ?

What dyno was the baseline done on ?

After my experiments I've found the lower part of the intake to be restrictive - at least the opening that goes into the fender well. I cut the whole bottom out of my stock intake. I got close to 20 more hp/tq from removing the HC panel and opening up the bottom. I'm assuming the trd intake has a different HC panel to not affect the power

I think you might be forgetting that dynos don't simulate wind resistance drag.

True but it still put out all that power and you won't all ways have a lot of wind pulling against you ! It's just to bad the guage stops at 120.

I would say a stock RCSB 5.7 would top out at 135-140 without a problem. Tack on another easy 15-20 mph with the TRC SC. That being said, I'd be a little chicken to do those speeds on stock rated tires and suspension.
