Default Life Expectance of a SC on the new 5.7L Engines?

I am getting ready to plop down some hard earned cash for a 2008 Tundra crewmax LTD 4x4 with a TRD Supercharger and wanted to know from other Tundra owners who currently own or have owned SC on what to expect on durability and reliability of an SC if it is well taken care of and not abused, too much Can I expect over 100k miles out of it like the motor? Thanks for the feedback.

An engine is like a bar of soap. The more you rub it, the faster it will wear out. That being said, Toyota must have built some safety margin into the designs of the 5.7 powertrain components because they offer a warranty with the supercharger in place.

One possible way to guess how long it will last would be to find some Gen 1 supercharged owners and see how many miles they have on theirs.
