Other applications will be following very shortly.
URD is using advanced design techniques including LASER scanning to digitize the engine bay and engine components. We are also completely designing the new systems in CAD before the first part is made.
This is cutting development costs, speeds development time and should yield the greatest number of common system components possible.
Re: URD MKII Supercharger Tacoma/XRunner 4.0L RELEASED
ooooooooo....nice, laser scanner on a FARO arm. We didn't even have stuff like that when I was working at Edelbrock developing turbo kits. Had to mock stuff up inside the engine bay and use rulers, protractors, and such....LOL.

I can't wait to get the first round of parts out of the rapid prototyping 3D printer. They are supposed to be strong enough to run on the vehicle indefinitely.
Re: URD MKII Supercharger Tacoma/XRunner 4.0L RELEASED
Nice! What kind of rapid prototype is it? We once had a honda intake manifold prototype printed on one that infused aluminum particles and we bolted it right up to the engine and ran it on the chassis dyno.
Some of that stuff is awesome.
i'd like to supercharge my tundra someday.....but its not the in budget now....

I do not know exactly what the material is, but it is a strong nylon stuff.
This same material was used to print a manifold for a turbocharged aircraft engine and it has been in flight tests for a couple of years. That is some sturdy stuff.
Re: URD MKII Supercharger Tacoma/XRunner 4.0L RELEASED
We will have one soon.
I just finished up on system, got three more in the fire right now. They should be done in a few weeks, then all the different 4.7L applications will be done.

Thanks guy! Hell, this would even motivate me to finish the rest of the engine detailing plans I have on the table. Need to contact them direct and see if
they can give some updates.
