Default 4.7l TRD Supercharger with headers

I am having a problem with my 2001 tundra with the TRD supercharger. When im accelerating hard around 3700 rpm its like the motor runs into a wall it stumbles and has a hard time it kind of lets off and picks up again... kind of like when when you have pluged cats but i checked the back pressure from the upstream o2 sensors and it has less than 2psi of back pressure and it revs up fine when its not under a load. there are no trouble codes and i already cleaned the MAF and intake. i noticed it a little before i installed jba headers and now the problem is really bad. could it be a fuel pump problem or a bad MAF? also with the headers do i have to have the unichip to make it run correctly?

I am not sure what the problem is
I had SC and JBA headers (before I did any more upgrades), and my set-up ran fine.

Now I got unichip, bigger pulley, and still have to install bigger fuel pump (twin turbo supra fuel pump)

Have you checked spark plugs? mine were realy bad, so I've replaced mine with IK22 Denso plugs

I have a 2000 supercharged Tundra and it sounds like yours does the same thing as mine. The ECU kills the boost for a moment just before each shift point. Mine has always done that.I have the unichip as well as the overboost 5.9 crank pulley...I also have the twin turbo Supra fuel pump but have never installed it.

Are you interested in selling the TT pump? You don't need it --my tundra has been running 8 psi with 4 different blowers over a period of 4 years and I have a pressure gauge installed .
I have never seen a pressure drop even at the current 330 RWHP.
I will soon install a Chevy Gen 4 LS2 6 litre V8 and trans. (Stock 400 hp and 405 tq.)===it will also be supercharged at 8 psi. I am going to need some serious fueling upgrades and the TT pump will be a good start, along with bigger fuel delivery line.

Are you talking about Gen1 Tundra with potential GM motor in it?

Yes-that's the plan. I have the motor and trans and am gathering the rest of the parts--blower-60 lb injectors-pressure reg-pump-HP tuners engine and trans management software.
I hope to start the project in a month or two.
Estimated RWHP 525-550.

I would sell it if you are interested as I doubt I will get around to installing it. New in box. I paid 220 us for it.

Kind of does sound like starving for fuel. Check everything, injectors, fuel filter, spark plugs too just for condition. I had a similar problem with my work van and it was the stupid fuel filter. Lost a days commission for a stupid filter. Sometimes it's the simple things.
