I have the Gibson and it's nice. You only hear it on acceleration. As it breaks in a little it's gotten a bit louder but also deeper over the past few weeks. Pretty happy medium between stock and Flowmasters.

Nope, I just have the 18. Thought it was the 14 but went and measured it. Over 3500 rpm, it sounds pretty good. The reality is I don't usually run in that rpm range. I've got the automatic. I'd be curious as to what the TRD or Borla sounds like as well.

On another topic, anyone have an idea as to when the adjustable Bilstein coilovers are going to be available?

Default Magnaflow Muffler 5x8 24" long 2 1/2 inlet & outlet

Anybody know if you have to use any couplers to attach these magnaflow mufflers? Or will the stock piping slide into the inlet and outlet after being cut? I was gonna try using the clamp on way if possible. I'm thinking about getting the Magnaflow: 5x8 24" long 2 1/2 c/c Thanks for any info

Hmmm not sure as mine have always been welded in. Most small town muffler shops will cut out a muffler and weld in a new one for maybe $30 (at least mine was anyway). Just don't go to one of the chain places and you should get a very good price.

I just paid to have my stock put back on also. The 24" magnaflow sounded like crap to me after a few days. I wasted 120$ total.

LOL! They do in the great state of Pennsylvania! Lucky me I guess!

You only had the 24" on a couple of days? It takes the muffler a little bit to break in, the sound might be better once it's broken in. It was about a month before mine really settled.

Oh by the way, that's not including the cost of the muffler. I bought it separately and took it in for the install.

I gave it a few weeks. Then I felt like every other 4banger with a muffler out there. To me it made the truck sound cheap. Like it had an exhaust leak or something.

That sucks. Maybe it's the 4cyl. Anyone else change the muffler on the 4?
