It has a tiny bit of drone at about 2400 rpm doesn't bother me and it's not broke in yet. I'm recording with an MP3 player and I had the recorder way to close to the exhaust tip. I'm gonna make some more sound clips and post them here

Sounds pretty beasty, I like the wind-down growl it has. My XR has JBA's full system, sounds just like an infinity FX45(315hp)... little throtier than the G35's(265hp) I absolutly love it though, sounds like a race-car instead of an "almost muscle car" lol. If you want it to sound even better bolt on a set of JBA silver ceramic headers jbaracing.com they add 10+hp and sound burly.

Looks nice, I'm sure the clip doesn't do it justice. I've heard other clips and thought it sounded great. After much research, it was the Borla or TRD for me, ended up going with TRD. You exhaust will 'break' in over next couple weeks with more expansion/contraction cycles. Most drone/riceness will go away. I also have a slight bit from 2400-2600, ususaly when its cold. Nothing bad or annoying.

glad u had the soundclip on here!! i do believe im going to go with the borla system myself for my truck!! i like flowmaster....but this sounds a lil better than that!! nice truck btw!! just like mine(without the hood scoop!!)

No intake just the borla. I had the mic to close to my mp3 player that I use to record the sound clip. Trust me the borla sounds awesome. I nice clean Race sound that will turn heads when you get on the throttle. Nice cruising tone not to loud.

yeah,and i was also looking for a 3rd brake light cover also!! where did u get yours @? no one around here has them yet!!

I got the brake light cover on ebay. It's just a carbon fiber vinyl decal that sticks over the plastic stock cover. It's made very well. I was surprised how good it turned out after I installed it. I can't find the seller I bought it from on ebay but other seller have them. Search Toyota Tacoma 3RD Brake Light Decal

alright,ill do that!! thanks for your help!! 2 more ?'s for ya...u think the borla exhaust will work with my airaid intake??? and..have u been able to find any service/repair manuals for our years of tacoma?? ive found only the cd-rom versions and id rather have a book!

Sure The Airaid Intake will work fine. It's gonna make the Borla sound A little louder probably. You can get the repair manuals from ebay or the dealer but your gonna pay BIG BUCKS. The books aren't chep! Goodluck with your ride
