Default Quick Exhaust Tip Question

I am going to by purchasing the Magnaflow 12256 muffler and need to purchase a tip as well. I'm looking at a 3" by 18" magnaflow tip. Would this fit well on a 2006 Tundra DC? What other tips have people used? Thanks!

I used a similar combination on my 00 Tundra. I used a magnaflow weld-on tip. It looks much cleaner than the screw-on or clamp on versions. I had the guy who was supposed to be welding my muffler on, weld it on. If you weld on a tip, be sure your welder covers the most of the tip with a wet rag to avoid weld splash and it helps to insulate the chrome from blueing. He actually used stainless steel band clamps on the muffler instead of welding, I was impressed, this guy did good work!
Good luck on your install, let us know how it went.
