Default Exhaust opinion wanted

I have a si/so Flowmaster 40 series on my 06 4.7. All i did was replace the muffler, i left the resonator on. My truck sounds deep but i really only hear it at 2000-3000 rpm, at wot you cant tell that there is anything there, its very mono-tone sounding. Would removing the resontator help the sound come out a little? Will it hurt low end power?

Removing the resonator would make it a bit louder, but it may also drone at certain rpms. Try to cut it as straight as possible so you can have it rewelded easily in case you don't like it removed.
