This is a discussion thread titled "headers and exhaust 04 tundra", within the Forced Induction Systems forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I have an 2004 tundra 4.7 ltr,do you go with the full Trd headers and daul exhaust or maybe the JBA header with the Borla daul exhaust, and which fuel management JET or UniChip.I'm looking for good power without alot of cab noise under normal driving,I heard the TRD headers are quite, are the JBA headers the same and it looks like JBA only has a single exhaust,is that true.
Thanks guys.
TRD headers aren't available for your model year. they were only designed for the 1st generation tundras. i would go with JBA shorty headers. as far as a set of pipes goes.....my Borla has some serious drone in the normal driving range, but i don't mind it.
future mods: SOS rollpan, Hellwig sway bar, SOS sway bar bushings, turbocharger, big brake conversion for front, SOS rear disc brake conversion, and many more.....
