I just moved to Texas and the state inspection said that they wont pass me with the VHT nightshades sprayed on the top portion (red part) the way that it is. I am now selling my tails cause I already went to the dealership and purchased new ones.
I have both tails with brand new bulbs and everything ready to go. They have two coats of VHT and 1 coat of clearcoat for shine.
I am willing to ship at your expense or available for pick up in Fort Worth area.
$85 each or best offer....this is a great price considering they are $150 at the dealer.

Thanks for posting...unfortunately it is pitch black outside and I am leaving for Denver in the morning on business. I will return on Sunday and I will post pics ASAP.

I have VHT Nightshades on my lights. I have my old set (non smoked) and when I go in for my inspection, I just switch them out to make it legal. Once I get passed, put the smoked lights back in. Have had them for over a year now and has never been an issue.

Rattle can...but the guy that cleared them paints for a living...but I called him over and he didn't bring his equipment. Either way, if someone didn't like them they can strip it off and redo with a wetsand, but I was always getting compliments.
I will definitely make it a point to take pics in the morning....sorry for the wait.

It is done with a rattle can...my buddy paints for a living and he cleared them for me....he didn't bring his equipment with him b/c he just happened to be there when I was working on them. Either way, someone could return them to their original look or reclear, or lighten them with a simple wetsand.
I was always getting compliments on the looks of the lights. I will definitely take pics in the morning...sorry for the long wait!
