Smile Eclipse AVN 6600 Questions

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and I'd like to say that everyone here seems very professional and it'll be a good time talking to everyone. Here's my situation... I just purchased a 2005 Tundra DC Limited editon. I have the jbl single cd player, OEM dvd player, wireless head phones, and the overhead dvd screen. I also bought the Eclipse AVN 6600 (I have the 2454 in my wife's 4-Runner) and after searching and gathering various information, I'm still un-clear on the following questions.
1) If I plug the factory wiring harness into the avn will the dvd in the center glove box still work with everything or will it ruin the avn?
2) will the steering wheel controls work with the 6600?
3) Do I need to bypass the factory amp? (mixed answers on this have been found)
Any more help or information on this specific model Eclipse and tundra would be very helpfull. Thank You.

I have the 6610 in my 2005 DC 4X4 Limited as well, but I dont have the factory rear entertainment( I have rear headrest monitors w/IR headphones). The steering wheel controls are plug and play with the 6600/6610. There is a harness that bypasses the factory jbl amp that is plug and play also, but I dont know how it works with the oem dvd player, or if it will work at all. Sorry I cant answer the last. I hope it will work for you, the 6600/6610 is an great HU and would recommend it.

That's good info for the steering wheel controls. I've decided to go with the 6610. I might just bypass the factory dvd player and run the flip down off the avn.
