Default Nuvi 660 question

Hello,

I'm still waiting for my Nuvi 660 to show up that I ordered on Monday from amazon with next day shipment. Seems UPS "lost" it the first time. amazon is supposed to resend it today for delivery tomorrow. We'll see.

Anyway, my question is on the main screen when driving to a destination. Does the screen show both estimated time of arrival and miles to the destination? That was the case on my in-law's TomTom that I've used in the past. But looking at some screenshots of the Nuvi I didn't see both. I'm hoping that can be changed in the preferences.

Thanks
David

Thanks
David

David, sorry for the late reply but I couldn't remember what the screen showed.
Yes, my Nuvi 660 does show est. time of arrival and miles...well, kind of.
On out trip out west, when a destination is selected, it shows miles to the next turn. Then if no other turns are needed, then total miles to the destination.
I do also believe that there is another screen you can toggle to or change a preference to show miles to destination.
Hope you got your 660!

Drink more. It probably won't help you understand better, but it just might, and that's a chance worth taking....
