Question Hello, Eclipse Navi users

Guys, I am new to the group but am trying to find some info on the AVN2454. I have the manuals, but must be lacking the patience to find what I need.
I bought a used truck with the AVN2454 already installed in it. I have been unable to change the home memory point, in fact when I select the menu button to get to the menu screen the only touch switch active for use is the volume touch switch.
Suspend Guidance, My Places, and Setup are all greyed out.
I have the 3 owners manuals and the disc, but nothing I have done or read about seems to remedy this problem.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Default Re: Hello, Eclipse Navi users

Apply the parking brake and see if that UNGRAY's the buttons.

If that doesnt work, the wire from the NAV going to the parking brake switch may not be hooked up.
It provides a ground to the NAV when you apply the parking brake to tell the nav YOUR NOT MOVING, and that it is ok to play with the buttons.
Built in safety feature, that some people by-pass.
