Constant, Intermittent Grayed Out Options on Screen

Constant, Intermittent Grayed Out Options on Screen

Either driving or sitting still, in multiple differrent areas (towns and states), my navigation system will "gray out" the "settings" option, then in destination, all the options, in all screens some of the options, then suddenly come back on. I will then try to work them as usual, then suddenly they gray out again. What the heck?
